So you have the code, you have the scripts, so what are you going to do now?

We've strived to make sure that the use of these altered components are easy and painless for you, the overworked developers out there. Installation of the database objects can be accomplished in 2 ways:
  • Manual Install: You can simply run the scripts, in order, manually via SQL Managment Studio. This approach will assume the database to install into is ASPNETDB. This can of course be manually customized.
  • Programatic Install: You can overwrite the existing sql scripts (located at %SYSTEMROOT%\Micrsoft.Net\v4.0.30319) with the new versions. Be sure to make backups of the originals! You can programatically install the database scructures to your choice of server/database by leveraging the SqlServices class located in the System.Web.Security.Alternate assembly. Use one of the overloads of the Install() method to create an instance of the structures in the desired location.

Uninstallation is simply the inverse. Run the uninstall scripts manually or invoke the Uninstall() method ont the SqlServices class.
